We had a very successful car control school again with my 360 Performance Driving Academy.
We had students from all over, like Texas and Oklahoma.
We started off as always with an introduction of what the day would bring and also what the students are looking in to improve.
After a 30 min classroom we all went to work. As always we went straight to business in the skid pad to work with over steer (Drifting).

After a whole stack of BFGoodrich KDW been used the right way, (sideways) we moved over to the Hugh auto cross course that we set up. With the amount of space that we have at El Toro we made it similar to a real race track. There we work with the regular racing technique. Where to look through the corners and how to use the throttle and braking and of course where to place the car thru out the corners.
Our school is all about flexibility for our students. If they want to focus on car control more than racing we are all game.
Anyway it was another great two days at the track teaching what I have learned thru out the years.

So after a busy week I and Stina went up to Mammoth to celebrate 4th of July. We did a lot of mountain biking and just relaxing up in the mountains. I definitely recommend taking the gondola up to the top and go downhill. Make sure you wear some gears. It hurts BAD when you go down.

Right now we are prepping for FormulaD Las Vegas. We are still working on the sponsor part but will continue competing on our own dime till we get a new partner.
So the Viper is getting ready to be sent out to Las Vegas Motor speedway for testing and qualification on Friday.
